Biography

Joan Rowan (Ulip) formerly of Rockville Centre on 10/22/09.  Beloved wife of Frank.  Loving mother of Frank III (Diane), Laurence (Debra), Lori Palk ( Richard), Lynn Kelly (Walter) and Dean.  Step-mother to Janet Clarde, Carolyn Ritchie, Harold Rowan, Kristine Rowna and Donna Rowan.  Also survived by 18 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.  Friends may call Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Thomas A. Glynn & Son Funeral Home.  Religious Service 8PM at the Funeral Home.  Interment Greenfield Cemetery Satrueday.

Joan, we will miss seeing you at Lake Adventure. We couldn't have asked for a better neighbor! Your friendship meant a lot to us and we have good memories of our time there with you. We will always remember your smiling face and cheerful hello! We will miss you. To Frank and family, please know that we are thinking of you and praying that you will be strong and faithful during this difficult time. She always talked about her family, you were all very important to her. Our sympathy to all of you.

Joan was a kind, compassionate, and caring woman. We will miss her warm smiles and laughter at our Valentines Dance, monthly meetings and other Steuben gatherings. We will miss her very much. She was a shining light and an example for all of us to follow. She loved Frank deeply and her family very much. Our condolances to all of you.
