Frank J. Saunders of Rockville Centre on December 26, 2014 unexpectedly while wintering in Florida. Frank was born May 5, 1942 in Freeport, NY the son of the late Franklin J. and Dorothy (Knueber) Saunders Sr. Loving husband of 44 years to Stephanie (Burmeister). Beloved father of Matthew (Christina). Loving Grandfather to Payton and Jack. Frank was the devoted Brother of Linda (Robert) McDonald of Hedgesville, WV, Elaine Saunders of Portland, OR. Frank was a longtime resident of Greenlawn, NY and a winter resident of Bonita Springs, Fl. He attended Syracuse University where he graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering. His career was spent as a financial advisor for E.F. Hutton & Co., Smith Barney and currently for Morgan Stanley. Frank was an avid golfer. He was a member of Pelican Nest Golf Club, Rockville Links and a former member of Indian Hills Country Club.
