WARD - Thomas on July 8, 2016 of Oceanside, NY. Proud Retired NYPD 1st Grade Detective. Beloved husband of Rose. Cherished father of Nicole and Shamus. Loving brother to Dorothy Morgan and Jack Ward. Son to Thomas P. and the late Dorothy. Tom has gone to heaven to be with his loving son Shamus and all those family members and friends who have gone before us. Friends may visit on Sunday and Monday at the Thomas A. Glynn FH, 20 Lincoln Avenue, Rockville Centre, NY from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass Tuesday, 10:30 AM at St. Anthony's Church in Oceanside. Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery. The family has requested in lieu of flowers donations to the Shamus Ward Foundation. http://www.shamuswardfoundation.org/
