Obituary of Joan P. Rodeman

Joan Turley Rodeman, 96 of Delray Beach Florida, Formerly of Sayville, New York passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 5, 2017. She is preceded by her husband of 55 years, Jack Rodeman. 
Joan is survived by her children Kit Johansen, John Rodeman Jr., wife (Linda), Bill Rodeman, Robert Rodeman (deceased), Michael Rodeman, Dr. Candy Rodeman husband (Ken Frankel); grandchildren, Kristin Craig husband (Barry), Cass Rodeman (deceased), Drew Johansen, wife (Jenny), Heather Johansen, Christy Sejba husband (Carl), Max Rodeman and Brandon Rodeman; great grandchildren, Kyra, Gabriel, Genevieve, Carolina, Chase and Logan. 

Joan loved and was loved by many family and friends. She was from a family of ten and is survived by her brothers, sisters and nieces and nephews. Joan served in the US Navy during WWII as a WAVE. She later worked as an educator in New York and Palm Beach Schools. She will be remembered and loved. 

Friends may call at the Thomas A. Glynn & Son Funera Home on Sunday August 13, 2017 from 2-4 PM.  Mass of Christian Burial Monday August 14, 2017 10 AM at St. Agnes Cathedral.  Interment to follow with Military Honors at Calverton National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Trustbridge Hospice or to Wounded Warriors Project.
