                                                       Arthur Thomas "Trey" Smith III

Arthur T. Smith of Rockville Centre, known as Trey by his friends, died very suddenly in his home in Rockville Centre at 67 from a heart attack on November 15.  Trey is survived by his wife Therese Marie (Klemm) Smith, his four sons, Gregory (Melissa), Chad (Dana), Arthur "Chip" Smith (Michelle), Robert Klemm (Lorrie), his mother Catherine "Kay" Smith, one brother, William Smith, one sister, Mary Anne Smith Holfelder and four grandchildren. 

Trey was born in Oceanside and grew up in Rockville Centre, graduating from South Side High in Rockville Centre in 1968. Trey had a gift of service, serving in the Rockville Centre Volunteer Fire Department for more than 25 years, serving our country in the US Army and Army Reserve and as an officer in the Nassau County Police Department for more than 10 years

Friends may call on Sunday at Thomas Glynn & Son, 20 Lincoln Ave. Rockville Centre from 2-4 pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Service at 7:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in Trey’s name.
