College. Longtime resident of Rockville Centre and Elka Park, NY. Intrepid real estate agent, broker, and co-owner of Roxbury Realty, and a dedicated breaker of rules she thought frivolous or inconvenient. Loved tennis, bridge, singing, traveling, gardening, dancing, and garage sales. Enjoyed the occasional cigar and cocktail.


Cherished wife of Joseph Shea (dec.). Devoted mother of Catherine Tangney (Scott, dec.), Joseph, Jr. (Patricia), Peggy Burke (Simon), Ann (Peter Schilling) and Frances Bolitho (Michael). Beloved grandmother of ten. Dear sister of Richard Sommer (dec.), John Sommer and Katherine Hasslacher. Special thanks to the sisters and staff at St. Joseph’s Home for the Aged for their compassionate care.


Visitation Thursday, February 29, 2-4 & 6-8pm at Glynn Funeral Home, 20 Lincoln Avenue, Rockville Centre. Funeral Mass at St. Agnes Cathedral, Rockville Centre Friday, March 1, 11am.
