Obituary of Chase Callahan
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Chase Callahan, 19, of Rockville Centre NY, on March 31, 2025. Born as one of a beloved trio, Chase was a cherished son, brother, grandson, and friend who brought light and love into the lives of all who knew him.
Chase was the beloved son of Heidi and Josh Callahan and a treasured brother to his triplet brothers, Aidan and Brady. Though faced with challenges throughout his life, Chase’s strength, gentle spirit, and radiant smile inspired everyone around him. His life was a beautiful example of courage, resilience, and unconditional love.
He is survived by his loving grandparents, Pam Fessler and John and Georgia Callahan. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Dale Fessler, with whom he now rests in peace. Chase was a beloved nephew of Dale and Johanna Fessler, Jennifer and Nick Mastroianni and Kimberly and Mike Lamonica and a beloved cousin.
Chase had many passions and really loved all kinds of music. He was considered a “Swifty”. Chase also loved to spend his time at the beach where he would often take a nap to the sound of the waves or at Thompson’s Lake where he liked relaxing on lazy summer days on the lake. When at home Chase loved the chaos of the family and laughing with his triplet brothers. Chase was considered the Mayor at his school as he put a smile on everyone’s face he encountered.
Chase's family thanks all the doctors, nurses and therapists all those that were apart of his life.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 4, from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Thomas A. Glynn & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Thompson's Lake Rural Cemetery in East Berne, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Chase’s memory to the Carman Road School PTA, 1 Carman’s Road, Massapequa, NY 11762—a place that was close to Chase’s heart.
Chase will be forever loved and missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
