Obituary of Sarah Willis

Sarah Willis passed away on April 4, 2025.  She was born in Caroll Gardens Brooklyn, NY to Anna and Giuseppe Massa on June 7, 1941.  Sarah graduated Prospect High School and then went on to work on Wall Street as a research assistant.  She married Kenneth James Willis and left Wall Street to be a mom to their daughter Kristin.  When Sarah and Kenneth divorced in 1984, Sarah went back to work as an assistant teacher at Court Street Day Care.  Sarah retired in 2006 and then moved to Rockville Centre in 2007 with her daughter and son in-law Jorge.

Sarah enjoyed having friends and family over to her home.  She also loved watching the Golden Girls and classic movies on the Turner Classic Movie Channel.  Sarah enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter BreeAnna and going on vacation to Myrtle Beach.  She was an avid crossword puzzle solver.

Sarah leaves behind her daughter Kristin, son in-law Jorge, granddaughter BreeAnna, Sister MaryAnn and many other family and friends. 

She will be missed by all “Stay Golden Sarah”
