Anthony J. Grandazza

April 10, 1937 – June 4, 2025

Anthony John Grandazza, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2025, at the age of 88. A longtime resident of Rockville Centre, NY, Anthony was a cherished presence in the lives of all who knew him.

He was the devoted husband of Virginia, with whom he shared 64 years of love and partnership. He was a proud father to Peter (MaryAnn), Kathleen, and the late Lisa Burton (Nathan). His legacy continues through his eight grandchildren—Lawrence Lofzewski (Amanda), Nicole Keller (Kyle), Samantha Thibodeau (Patrick), Keriann Murray (Mark), Katherine Carney (Christopher), Tyler Burton, Janet Lazewski, and John Grandazza—and his cherished great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn Keller, Jacob Keller, Harper Thibodeau, Linnea Lofzewski, Miles Keller, Alara Keller, Finley Murray, and Hailey Thibodeau, along with the late Simon Keller and Danielle Keller.

Known for his steady presence and gentle heart, Anthony found joy in life’s simple pleasures. A passionate enthusiast of model trains, he spent countless hours building, collecting, and sharing his love for the hobby with his grandchildren, sparking wonder and creativity across generations.

Anthony’s memory will be carried forward in the stories shared around dinner tables, in the laughter of great-grandchildren at play, and in the rhythmic click of wheels on train tracks that continue to wind their way through the lives he touched.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Anthony’s memory to Nassau County Fire Fighters Operation Wounded Warrior or the Wounded Warrior Project—both causes that held a special place in his heart. The family is deeply grateful for your kindness and support during this difficult time.

He will be deeply missed, always remembered, and forever loved.
