Glenn A. Livingstone Obituary

Glenn Alexander Livingstone

Glenn Alexander Livingstone, 61, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026.Born on November 24, 1964, in Jamaica, Queens, Glenn was known for his loyalty, toughness, strong-willed nature and generous spirit. Whether on the soccer field, the hockey rink, or in everyday life, he brought determination, humor, and a warm smile that friends and family will always remember.

Glenn graduated from South Side High School in Rockville Centre and went on to the College of William & Mary, where he played soccer and earned a degree in Economics. There, he met Cathy Caputo, the love of his life and his wife for over 25 years. Though their marriage later ended, they remained partners in the enduring pride of raising their two children, KellyAnn and Will, together.

He spent more than 20 years working on Wall Street, starting his career at BONY (Bank of New York). Glenn excelled as a risk arbitrage trader, holding key roles at firms including Tiedemann and Soros. In the last 15 years, Glenn found another passion as a dedicated hockey referee in New Jersey, staying close to the game he loved and the community around it.

Above all, Glenn loved his family deeply, was profoundly proud of his children, and was a loyal friend to many. His generosity, sense of humor, and unmistakable smile left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Glenn is predeceased by his father, Robert, and survived by his beloved children, KellyAnn and Will; his mother, Lois; his brothers, Cameron and Bruce; and his sister, Jennifer. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the many people whose lives he touched.
