Nick was born September 29, 1947.  He grew up in Glendale in Queens, New York.  The son of Nicholas and Rosemary, and one of ten children.  A devoted Catholic and loving husband, Nick married Cathy O’Brien in 1992.  They reside in Lido Beach, NY and Tampa, FL. Nick was a loving and supportive father to Kathleen (Kirby), Kristin (Noel), Kerri (Mark) and Shawn (Kim) and dedicated “Pop” to his 11 grandchildren Nicholas, Brennan, Nolan, Katie, Delaney, Caroline, Quinn, Emily, Avery, Laim and Nash.

Nick was an athlete his entire life.  Having played Division 1 basketball at The University of Georgia where he earned the honor to be Captain of the team.

Nick had a successful 40+ year career as an international sales executive.  One of the highlights being a number of trips to South Africa which brought the opportunity to sit down with Nelson Mandela.

Nick held his friendships close to his heart, many dating back to elementary school.  He was great with advise and lending an ear.  He took the time to keep in touch with letters, notes and cards.

He was a true mentor and coach throughout his lifetime.  Some of his best days were on the golf course, but his greatest interests were his grandchildren.

Nick lost his war with cancer on November 7, 2020 after winning many battles.  He was a fighter until the end ..  Rest easy and stay Forever Young.
