
Obituary of Manuel A. Vera
On Monday March 15, 2021, Manuel A. Vera, loving Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle & Friend passed away at the age of 70.
Manny was born on June 19, 1950 in Port Montt Chile. When Manny was 19 years old, he emigrated to the United States and settled in the 5-towns. In the early 1980’s Manny became a citizen of the United States of America. Manny went on to work hard as a landscaper for many years and later became a member of Local 32-BJ. On December 2, 1971 he married Edith Osses. They raised two loving children Mike & Edith Vera.
Manny had many passions in life, which included playing and singing music, flying model airplanes, skiing and attending live events. Manny’s greatest passion was his family, and his strongest attribute was his unconditional love for his children and four grandchildren, Isabelle, Kailey, Ariella and Anthony. Manny’s heart was so big and his loving way was infectious. He was always there for anyone who needed an ear to listen or a shoulder to lean, family, friend or stranger. Manny was the example of how to love!
Manny was preceded in death by his Father Manuel Jesus Vera, Mother Rosabla Morales Vera, and his Brothers Oscar Romero and Jose Vera. He is survived by his two children Mike and Edith, his sisters, Maria Luisa Vera, Betty Romero, Mireya Vargas and brother Hernan Vera
