Kern, Herbert F. of Valley Stream on May 13, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Virginia. Loving father of Deborah Aue (Robert). Devoted grandfather of Charles Avondet and Kyle Avondet. Great grandfather of Ella and Charles. Proud veteran of the U.S. Army WWII. Longtime dedicated employee of the Inc. Village of Valley Stream. Member of the Valley Stream Masonic Lodge, Republican Committeeman Valley Stream, member of the Elks New York Lodge #1 Lynbrook, NY, member of the VFW and Army Veterans. Friends may call Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Thomas A. Glynn & Son Funeral Home 20 Lincoln Ave Rockville Centre. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Good Shepherd Hospice at Mercy Hospital.
