On January 12, 2023, Josephine T. Insinga passed away peacefully in her sleep at 98.5 years old. She was born in Brooklyn, New York on May 23, 1924, the daughter of the late Carmello (Michaelangelo) Trapani and Petrina (DeLeo) Trapani. In the early 1950’s, she moved to Uniondale, New York to raise her family. She was a devoted housewife and then worked for 20 years at the Nassau Library System.
Josephine was predeceased by her loving husband of 49 years, Vito Insinga. She is survived by her daughter Antoinette Calamari Conroy (Jack) and son Vito Insinga (Gwen), her three Granddaughters, Jennifer Harrington, Emily Calamari Hoehl and Alexandra Insinga and one great-grandson, Jake Harrington. They provided amazing hospice service to Josephine the past 2 years.
