Egan, Edmond of Hewlett formerly of Ridgewood, Queens and Farranfore, Co. Kerry Ireland on July 27, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Alice (nee O’Brien). Wonderful father of Catherine Dowd (Rich), Mary Anne Klein (Dave), Tommy (Karen), Edmond (Christine Barry) and Danny (P.J.). Cherished Pop-Pop to Lauren, Grace, Ashley, Mikee, Ruby, Sarah, Elizabeth, Caitlin, Jeanmarie, Jack and Daniel. Predeceased by his beloved sisters Peggy Conway and Mary Egan. “Irish Eddie” will be missed by many nieces, nephews, friends, neighbors and devoted caregivers. Retired from both NY M.A.B.S.T.O.A (TWU Local 100) and Columbia Federal Savings. Eddie was a grateful friend of Bill W. for 30 years, always one day at a time. Friends may call Thursday 7-9 PM and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Thomas A. Glynn & Son Funeral Home 20 Lincoln Avenue Rockville Centre. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 9:45 AM at St. Anthony’s R.C. Church Oceanside, N.Y. Interment to follow Greenfield Cemetery.
