To the Family of Caroline Latham:
I am sorry for your loss, and know it is great. Caroline gave her full heart and energy into everything she did. Fortunately, I had the opportunity to work with her while teaching at Sacred Heart, and we attended a conference together once, where I got to know her event better. May she rest in peace and may the happy memories of her sustain you.

I am blessed enough to say that I was taught by Mrs. Latham for two years and as well as worked with her outside of class. I had the honor of Mrs. Latham turning my ring and am forever grateful for her support. Mrs. Latham was one of the biggest role models in my high school career and remains to be as I advance through college. She is the largely the reason for where I am in my studies and without her confidence in my abilities, I would never had gotten to where I am. Without her push I would have been much more apprehensive to apply to engineering school and to this day it has been one of the greatest decisions I have made. She inspired and will continue to inspire those around her with her passion for learning and extreme compassion to all.
My deepest sympathies to the Latham family.

Mrs. Latham touched the lives of so many people with her spirit and kindness. I was in her algebra class during my freshman year and she went out of her way to make her classroom a comfortable place where everyone felt they could speak up. I’ll never forget the amazing ENABLE project she helped bring to Sacred Heart. Through ENABLE, we made 3D-printed hands for people who were born missing fingers. She took a week out of her class so we could devote time to make these hands carefully. When we sent the hands to the recipients, Mrs. Latham was moved to tears and shared a Pope Francis quote that she felt resembled the work we had completed. I was, for the first time, moved to tears in class as she expressed how proud of us she was. I’ll never forget this experience that she worked so hard to make a possibility. She was a fantastic teacher and an even better role model who taught us to take what we had learned in the classroom to make the world a better place.
My deepest condolences to the Latham family.

I am deeply saddened by the death of Caroline Latham. She was a dynamic, open, effusive, bright and lovely person. This academic year I joined the Board of St. Joseph High School, my alma mater. Before doing so I met with her. After our conversation, I knew that I wanted to work with her; to help her; to support her and her wonderful mission to take on the leadership of SJHS. I felt that she was exactly the right person. Her enthusiasm was contagious. I regret that this never came to pass. I recently received an email from her telling me that the second I got back from California (I am out of state on an extended family visit) we were to get together for lunch. No doubt to learn about a brilliant scheme she had for SJHS.
A great loss to the school, her loving family and those of us lucky enough to know her.
May she rest in peace . . .

I am lucky enough to have had the pleasure of being a student in Mrs. Latham’s pre-calculus class my junior year at Sacred Heart from 2014-2015. Mrs. Latham was consistently bright, extremely caring, and passionate – every quality you could wish for in a remarkable teacher and person. I have many fond memories of her class; her creativity and enthusiasm were always appreciated and a valuable bright light in an otherwise tough year for many of us. I distinctly remember her well-wishes and encouragement before my religion project, and her understanding spirit and genuine support for all of her students made her a favorite amongst many.
Such a lovely person and teacher will be dearly missed. I know the impact she had on myself and several of my friends was profound.
Sincerest condolences to her family, Mrs. Latham will be dearly missed.

I had the pleasure of being apart of Ms.Latham’s first graduating class as principal of 2017. I went through a tough stage at that point in my senior year struggling with possibly having to remove my tonsils in the middle of the school year. She was so understanding and supportive of myself every step of the way encouraging me to keep pushing forward but to put my health first . I’m deeply saddened by these news and will keep the rest of my SJHS and Latham family in mind as we mourn the loss of our beloved Ms.Latham.

You didn't have to know Mrs. Latham well to know that she was a caring and loving woman.
She loved her students so much and beamed with pride and joy when she was around them. She was so supportive during their activities.
My daughter, Alysa was one of her students and graduated in June, 2018. Mrs. Latham was so happy when she told me that I would be presenting Alysa's diploma to her at graduation. She was also so happy when she was talking about how Alysa was Prom Queen last year. She was a very positive influence on her and for that, I will forever be grateful.
May you rest in peace, Mrs. Latham.
You will never be forgotten.
Thank you for everything.
My deepest condolences to your family.

How blessed are those who had the good fortune to know her kind soul. She graces the heavens now. My sincerest condolences to all.
